Welcome
Em-Te Town is an authentic western frontier town tourist
attraction and resort near Alder Flats, Alberta, with
campground, cabins, motel, saloon, restaurant, and banquet
facilities. Come and experience life in the old west in a truly
unique and relaxed setting. Take a tour of the town and see the
buildings, tools, and implements of a bygone era when the west
was first settled. Have a bite to eat in our newly renovated
restaurant or your beverage of choice in the ole saloon. Spend
the weekend in one of our rustic cabins or full service motel.
There is lots of room for camping with new power sites now
available. We cater to weddings, reunions, corporate functions,
and other special events. There are many activities, both modern
and with a theme, for both the young and the old. Check out our

Em-Te town has been under new Management since mid 2008. Since
then we have completed numerous renovations and upgrades to the
entire facility. These include a new modern kitchen and public
washrooms. A renovated dining hall with entertainment system and
a new expanded outside licensed covered patio deck. The cabins
have new heaters and queen beds. Some of our campsites are now
serviced with 30 amp power and water. Numerous town buildings
and cabins have new roofs and some have been structurally
repaired.
The Motel rooms have been renovated to serve you better. We hope
you will enjoy the added comfort. The Cabins have been spruced
up, some with new roofs, decks, and awnings. Much of the
furniture has been replaced. The main shower house has a new
roof and platform. These are just some of the new changes with
more to come.
Our new Grande Banquet Hall was completed in the spring of 2011.
Since then many Weddings, Reunions, and other events were held
in our new Hall. By all accounts it has proved to be a great
success and a good time was had by all. Come on down and have a

Additional 30A power & water sites have gone in across from the
shower house, which will also have new lights for your comfort
and safety. The gazebo has been spruced up and moved next to the
church. A new petting zoo is in the works near the corrals. The
store has more camping essentials, gifts, and fun stuff for the
kids. Many more town buildings and boardwalks have been fixed up
as part of our ongoing maintenance program to preserve and
upkeep the Town.
As
part of our efforts to promote the new equine part of our
business the entire corral area has been completely renovated.
The barns have been cleaned and repaired. Also new fences and
corals have been built. We boast a brand new full size Rodeo
arena complete with bleachers. We are planning many new rodeo
events for this season and beyond. Check our

Our goal is to preserve the unique character of old town going
into the future. We also wish to continue to improve the
standard of the rest of the facility for the comfort and
pleasure of our guests. We appreciate your input and thank you
